SABA has a strong track record when it comes to innovation. Every year, SABA devotes a significant proportion of its budget to research and development. Our R & D team consists of highly qualified and experienced chemists. SABA also has its own in-house innovation specialists who are engaged full-time on new products and developments. Knowledge exchangeOur chemicals experts keep up to date with scientific developments as a result of their contacts with universities and research institutes. In addition, by collaborating closely with clients we can ensure that knowledge is exchanged in a practical manner so that our products and the way they are used can be tested, modified and made more effective and efficient. QualitySABA Research & Development applies relevant international standards in its product development, including DIN, EN, ISO and ASTM. For the purpose of certifying SABA-products, we use specialised independent research institutes such as KIWA, TNO and TÜV. SABA-products are tested using advanced testing equipment – for example, our R&D department has a climate-controlled room and temperature-regulated tensile testing machine. Many SABA-products have been certified by KOMO, DIBt, Germanischer Lloyd, IseGa, LGA and KIWA, among others. GreenOne important objective of SABA’s policies is the development of products that are less harmful to people and the environment. Our chemists spend a lot of time reducing the quantities of hazardous substances in existing products and developing new products containing as few volatiles as possible. |
